Guru Purnima: Rajkummar Rao Recalls Struggles, Says 'Teachers Paid My School Fees'

Guru Purnima is a major spiritual festival of respect and reverence for our teachers and gurus, which is being celebrated today, on July 10. On this day, disciples express their devotion and devotion towards their guru. On this occasion, Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao recalled the important role his teachers played in his life. The actor said that teachers had played a role in his life.

My martial arts teacher, Mr. Yamin, and my dance teachers, Kamaljeet ma'am and Madhusudan sir, all always encouraged me. All my teachers at Shri Ram Center and the Film and Television Institute of India have taught me a lot about the world of acting. Teachers were an integral part of my childhood. Many teachers paid my school fees or fees for two-three years when times were challenging".

 'I have been lucky' - Rajkummar Rao

Continuing his talk, Rajkummar Rao further said, "You are as good as your teacher, so accept whatever your teacher gives you. For this you need a food teacher. In this case, I have been lucky". He further told that he is still in touch with some of his teachers.

Rajkumar Rao's film "Malik" will be released in cinemas tomorrow 

Talking about the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be seen playing the role of a gangster for the first time in "Maalik". Manushi Chhillar will be seen alongside the actor in the film. Directed by Pulkit, Maalik is his first theatrical release. Known for its strong thrillers and emotionally charged dramas, the film is produced by Kumar Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, along with Jay Shewakramani of Northern Lights Films. Maalik is scheduled to release in theaters on July 11, 2025. The film will clash with "Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan" and "Superman". Apart from this, he also has a comedy entertainer "Toaster" with Sanya Malhotra, "Stree 3", and the web series "Guns and Roses Season 2".
